Marcia was chosen as the 2nd Attendant to the Regional Dairy Princess, but later served as Regional Princess when Jill Jensen was chosen as Princess Kay. Marcia really enjoyed serving dairy products at various special events like the Twilight Meeting and riding in all of the “hot” parades. Marcia has been married to Dan Schindler for 25 years; they have one son, Drew, who is 5 ½ years old. They live in North Branch, where Marcia teaches high school math. To current princesses, Marcia advises: “Be very proud of who you are representing. Dairy farmers are very hard working people and dedicated to their work.” Marcia’s family loves milk, ice cream, cheese and butter. When it’s her son’s turn to bring snacks to school, Marcia made sure to send string cheese sticks and milk.
